When did you wean your baby from breastfeeding, how, and why? As I approach one year with my son, I wonder if I should keep going until he wants to stop or try to gradually wean around 1 year as I'd originally planned. Just looking for stories from other moms...my own mom thinks I should wean (baby hasn't really taken to solids and she thinks this will help) but my mother-in-law thinks I should keep going as long as he wants.
