I was wondering if anyone knows how many weeks you are before your doctor can determind the sex of your baby. I have heard 28 weeks. I've heard 20 weeks. It varies with everyone....I really would like to know. I've heard that the heartbeat can help determine. My babies heartbeat was 150 the last time i was in the hospital. Does anyone have a good answer for me? please and thank you!

I wouldn't rely on heart rates. Most ultrasound technicians wont tell you the sex unless they are at least 90% sure they are right. They do very little guessing anymore they have become quite skilled at this. I think it is average to be able to tell the s
